Generation 1: Caselta Rodriquez "Chapter 3"

Tomorrow soon came, and I decided to teach the toddlers new lessons rather than watching them play with the toys that they clearly loved playing with.

First, I decided to potty train Sebastian. I didn't like changing other people's children's diapers...

I felt quite embarrassed every time I saw my cousin. He used to change me all the time, mostly because I would only soil my diapers around him... Strange, huh?

But, Sebastian didn't like using the potty so I fed him and later he wanted to go Number 2.

After potty training him for the second time, I decided to teach him how to talk while Belisama played with a horse toy.

Yet that lesson got interrupted by Belisama's cries for entertainment. I immediately tossed her in the air, she was all giggles by then.
Today it felt like Belisama didn't want to do any lessons, but after feeding her and playing with her for a bit, I managed to make her want to use the bathroom.

Belisama wasn't like Sebastian. She was more calmer than yesterday. She knew how to talk and walk yet not use the toilet by herself yet. Sebastian didn't know how to talk nor use the bathroom either.

Once I taught Belisama a second time on how to use the bathroom, she accidentally missed the potty and spill some of her body fluids on my bathroom floor.

I ignored it and just put Belisama in the living room with Sebastian while I took
care of my own needs; I was getting thirsty.

After using the restroom, I fed both my little toddlers while I waited for the next 45 minutes to go by.

At 6:32, my cell phone rang.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Miss Rodriquez," my boss began. "Looks like Belisama Hemlock's mother will be late to pick her up. You'll need to take care of this child until the parent shows up!"
"Okay, I'll take care of her, you can count on me."
Just after finishing my phone conversation, Richie Striker came to pick up Sebastian.
"Sebastian had a great time with you today! Thank you so much for looking after my kid."

I decided to teach Belisama how to potty train before her mother came to pick her up. This time, Belisama's mother came right in the middle of our lesson.

She stood outside the bathroom door, "Belisama was a happy kid when I picked her up. You are amazing! What's your secret?"

I then finished potty training Belisama. It was a bit messy, but I finally potty trained the little Hemlock. I'll always remember the day I got to dispose of her diapers forever!

After handing back Belisama to her mother, Morrigan smiled. "You are rad! Thanks for taking care of my kid while I ran some errands. Here's $33 to make up for the extra time."

"No problem, Mrs.Hemlock, it was only an hour and twenty-nine minutes. Thanks for the tip," I thanked her while waving goodbye to the Hemlocks.

After they left, I got another call from my boss.
"Congratulations! Miss Rodriquez, you have been conferred the new title of Cool Care-Giver by the Bridgeport Town Council in recognition of your valuable contributions to the workforce."

"Oh my God, thank you! Thank you!"

"Now, Caselta, caring for kids takes a bit of finesse. You'll need to be more alert and on top of your care taking now that word is getting around. Another family wants you to take care of their toddler. That means you now have to take care of a total of three kids!"

"Alright, thank you for telling me."

"You now make $200 per week."

Once the conversation was over, I hung up and began cleaning up my house, even though my bed was calling me name.

Generation 1: Caselta Rodriquez "Chapter 2"

I woke around the same day, but just at 7:31 PM. I began having cold feet. I was going to babysit little toddlers in less than 15 hours.

Crying children and erratic moods are not for everyone. Amateur Babysitters need to be quick on their toes to care for two little ones at once.

Once I got up from bed, I did my morning routine: bathe, use the restroom, brush my teeth, and eat some leftovers. I was grinning this evening, tomorrow was going to be my day of my new job.

But, after eating my dinner, I remembered that I didn't have any children's toys for the little ones. Making a face, I headed out the door to head to one of the stores that were still open to buy some. I didn't like spending the remaining $929 dollars I had in my pocket, but you got to give some to get some, right?

My home is now full - well, sort of - of daycare things. I filled my home with a crib in my bedroom for the little ones, just in case they were tired; a high chair near my bedroom door for little hungry toddlers; Sesame Street toys in front of the television, a baby swing near the two-seat sofa, a toy box near the TV, and the peg box near the xylophone.

This all resulted in me only having $119 dollars left in my savings. Great.

After putting everything in its place, I sat down and watched the Sports channel while I waited for morning to come.

I guess I might have slept through the remaining Sunday night on the sofa.

I squirmed all night, feeling uncomfortable sleeping on the couch. But, I was awoken when my door opened to four-star celebrity Richie Striker with his son, Sebastian Striker.

Then Morrigan Hemlock came into my house along with her daughter, Belisama Hemlock.

After I woke up from my unexpected guests, I quickly excused myself and ran into my bedroom to change into my uniform that the city of Bridgeport had gave me. Once I was finished dressing, I waved goodbye to the parents. I immediately took care of Belisama first, since she was in a sour mood. Then I fed and tickled Sebastian, he was the most calm and relaxed one.

While Belisama was playing with the toy box and Sebastian was drinking his baby bottle that his father had given me to give to him, I headed into the bathroom and then ate some breakfast. I was starving and had to use the bathroom or else I might have a "little accident" like the toddlers did in their diapers.

Just when I was about to sit besides Sebastian and teach him how to talk, his father came to pick him up. Belisama's mother wasn't far behind either.

"Belisama Hemlock is very happy at your place," Morrigan said happily.
"So is Sebastian Striker. Thanks for taking good care of our precious little peanuts, Miss Rodriquez," Richie finished.

Waving goodbye to the two little tots, I made my way to the bathroom to take a bath and do my nightly routine before bed.

The toddlers I looked after today were precious - the things I bought for them was worth it to see them giggling with smiles on their adorable chubby faces.

As I sat in the bath, I began to think about how one day I would like to have children of my own. But, when would that ever happen? I speak very little English and I don't know any body in town other than the two woman who greeted me my first day in town, and the two parents of my little Daycare Kids...

On my first day off of work, I'm going into town to mingle with the single. Maybe I will make a friend or two. I should really start learning some English first, though.

Generation 1: Caselta Rodriquez "Chapter 1"

Caselta Rodriquez said her goodbyes to her family, hoping to see them again one day, but it wouldn't be in the near future. She was going to travel into Sim Nation, hoping to find a new life where she can find work and get paid decent money. Caselta wants her future children to have a better life than she did as a child, they would grow up owning every toy their little hearts desired, having a roof over their heads, and having any snack they'd like. Freedom would be nice to have in a country that was much safer than Simexico.

Once I reached Bridgeport, I found a small one-bedroom home near the large body of water that ran under the city's bridge and separated it.
After settling into my new small home, I began making autumn salad to satisfy my hunger. Traveling thousands miles and swimming to your new home did make someone famished.

I ate my meal slowly; it was a known fact that if you hadn't eaten in a couple weeks, your digestive system would consider the food foreign if you ate to quickly, causing you to surely die. I didn't walk and swim all the way to Simnation from Simexico for nothing!

After washing my plate and putting away the leftovers, I decided to take a bath. I really smelled disgusting from not bathing since two nights before I headed off to Bridgeport.

When I entered the bathroom, I noticed that there were two windows that revealed itself to the outside world. I should go out and buy some curtains for my new home, I thought as I ran the bath water. But since I only had nine hundred and twenty-nine dollars in my savings, I needed to save up first.

After doing my morning routine, I grabbed the newspaper the newspaper girl left and began scanning the HELP WANTED jobs list. Nothing seem to fit for me, but I couldn't get past the first job page when I heard my doorbell ring.

I was surprise to know that two women from up the hill were there to welcome me to the new city.
Lala Angelista and Odine Perry introduced themselves. I shook both their hands and then chatted with them for a while.

"Sorry, but I'm on my way somewhere," I said. "I'm looking for a job and I need to head into town to find one. Nice to meet you both, Lala and Odine."

Once they left, I decided to walk into town, I didn't want to waste my money on a
taxi when I could just walk.

Once I reached the city's library, I headed right towards one of the computers that had free internet access. I logged in as a Guest User and headed to Bridgeport's Jobs List. It took about a couple minutes until I saw a profession as an Amateur Babysitter (which sounds good to me since I've been babysitting since I was a little girl). I took the job offer and quickly typed my resume.

After entering my resume (which I had to translate into English since I barely knew the language), I was about to log off when I got a response.
I was hired!
I couldn't believe it! I came to this nation with barely any clothes or money and now I had a job!
I was to start in less than 18 hours. I would work from Mondays to Thursdays from 9 AM-7 PM. I get paid $100 per week. Well, that's more than I made in Simexico, so that's good.

I decided to head to bed after arriving home from the library; I wanted to get some rest before tomorrow came since I would be taking care of a stranger's child in the city.

Goodnight, Simexico. Good morning, Bridgeport!
